Et, voilà! Our latest Mystery Guest was ex-sexpot, current crackpot Brigitte Bardot. She is gussied up for her role in En effeuillant la marguerite (1956), alternately known in America and England as Mademoiselle Striptease, Please! Mr. Balzac, and the vaguely dirty-sounding Plucking the Daisy. It was made just before ...And God Created Woman (1956) created the BB phenomenon; although these photos, and some of your guesses, lend credence to Sammy Davis Jr.'s observation that La Bardot would never become a major Hollywood star because she had an essentially boyish physique, despite her famed sensuality. "American men," declared Sammy, "do not want to look at boyish asses." We would beg to differ, but that's a whole other debate.
